Take a dip and cool off in a choice of three swimming pools. The plunge pool and a paddle pool is situated near the trees, with a lovely view of the valley, and the half Olympic full depth swimming pool higher up for the more energetic swimmer. Picnic and braai facilities nearby so you can make a day of it!
Fauna & Flora
Beware the resident warthog, hare, 'dassie', baboons and monkeys. Look out for duiker, porcupine, tortoises, leguaans and bushbabies, and of course the occasional snakes, scorpions, spiders and more. Hear the jackal call at night whilst stargazing above you, or maybe even the very elusive leopard. With at least 133 documented bird species, the estate is also a paradise for bird-watchers.
Set the kids free to play in the playground, that hasn't changed much except for maintenance and a coat of paint in the past 40 years! They Love the 'witches hat' and the swings, and keeps them busy for hours
It's Check Mate! Challenge your partner to a round of giant chess at the main centre. A great way to spend the afternoon
A game for the whole family, clubs and balls are stored at the chalet for your enjoyment. The 9-hole course is fun and well maintained.
You can have three seasons in one day, and while there are a few games at the chalet for rainy, windy and at times scorchingly hot days, you can always beat the cabin fever at the main centre and go investigate the Games Room (Some games carry a small fee / deposit).
